Domain Ownership Change

Note well:  You are preparing to change the legal owner of a domain name.  Such as change is not easily reversed and will result in your loss of rights to the domain name.  If you are not the legal owner of the domain name in question attempting to modify the owner is a criminal offense.

Changing the owner setting for a domain (either organization name or personal name) is surprisingly easy.  All that is required is you postal mail us signed authorization using the form below.

The cost for an ownership name change is $25 which includes an extra year of registration (tacked onto your current one) as well as several in-and-out-house processing fees here, at Core and at various other organizations which handle this change.

    HOW TO DO IT:
If the above stipulations are all right with you, you need to do the following:

  1. The domain name must already be registered at our registry. If not then go through the registry switch process first.
  2. Do NOT cancel your domain name or try to reregister it right when it expires.  You will likely loose your domain name if you try to do this.  Many people are experts at stealing domain names, so do not take this gample.
  3. Write out a check or money order for $25 payable to WEBster Computing Services.
  4. Postal mail (note you must postal mail, not fax or email) us the following letter along with your payment. Please use the company letterhead of the current owner. If you are unable to open the .pdf file, you may download a free adobe viewer here.

  5. | view or print .PDF owner change letter | return to domain interface |
